Gentlemen: I would direct everyone to read the heading at the top this blog about the types of things that should be posted herein. May I suggest that we endeavor to keep our entries a little bit shorter and focus on the "diplomatic" topics or subjects that would have a direct effect on other imaginations in our realm?
I've noticed that entries seem to be getting longer and longer recently. Perhaps the longer entries should be posted on one's personal blog with maybe a short notice on this page "announcing" where the longer version may be found. Tradgardland, Colonel Campbell and Stollen do a very nice job of using this technique.
I hesitate to even make these comments as I do not wish to hurt anyone's feelings, but I felt that something should be said.

Thank you!!!!
Sometimes I cheat, indulging in long *comments* here. Then, the favourite swearword of English-speaking Monte-Cristans being "Holy cheat!"...
I myself confess to having on at least one occasion posted an entire blog post meant for the Deylicate blog on E-vs.-E and, having found the mistake, left it there rather than look like I was trying to boost my blog hit numbers by recycling material.
Identifying this post is left as an exercise for the reader.
Gentlemen,
As list owner I try to be as unobtrusive as possible . . . and I feel that I am pretty easy-going about posts.
Of course that is mostly because most of you are generally pretty good about what belongs on your personal blogs and what belongs here.
I have from time to time quietly emailed some of you about this . . . and I've not had occasion to need to do anything more.
Face it, we have a very nice community here . . . so let's not get our knickers in a knot over it . . . but simply endeavor to post appropriately.

One would argue that flowery speech and embellishment are both core requirements of proper diplomatic speechcraft. However, that being said we will attempt to curtail our more lengthy correspondences. :)
Guilty as charged and will amend my wicked ways:)Really thanks for pointing this out.
Konstantinos,
Yours ways aren't wicked . . . unless, of course, you are secretly allied with those vile Stagonians!*

* note that Stagonia is the hereditary enemy of Saxe-Bearstein . . . and they are most VILE.
