In the Beginning

And so it starts . . . a war of imaginary eighteenth century countries. The "big guys" -- the Emperor and the Elector -- seem to be on the verge of open war. We, the many small (imaginary) nations of Europe are taking sides and jockeying for advantages.

Who will win?

All of us . . . as long as we have fun. Remember, no one -- not even our tabletop miniatures -- will die. No real blood will be spilled. No widows will cry. And we can all be merry and chat about how we outsmarted someone (or were outsmarted).

Tabletop battles will probably be fought in various locations . . . but the important thing will be the camaraderie and delight that we share in our hobby.

Welcome to the 18th century!
