Fellow rulers, as War seems to have been or about to be launched, it behooves us to know where we stand.
Who supports the Emperor . . . signified by Gallia and her allies in the current situation.
Who supports the Elector . . . signified by Hesse-Seewald and its allies as Gallian troops move east?
We ourselves do not know where we stand. If battle comes to our peaceful Saxe-Bearstein, we will certainly defend our lands. But if it is only on neighboring lands, we are unsure. We would like to have some idea as to what nations support which side.

Frankfurt Am Main, Frankzonia was occupied by Gallia in 1755 (2005), a magazine was built there, the city continues under Gallian control, some turbulent local politicians, etc. recently fled, some Frankzonian military units mutinied and Lt. Gen. Chevert's Gallian Corps marched eastwards into the fortress of Gemünden with a brigade of Frankzonians. The magazine in Frankfurt Am Main is now garrisoned by several militia brigades under the leadership of l'Intendant l'Comte de Bastille. Bastille has a reputation for clearing stormy weather and smoothing rough seas where Gallian interests are concerned. He recently commenced building a rather large jail.
----------------
In the regions of Hesse Fedora and Hesse Homburg, another Gallian corps commanded by (you don't know who yet) headed northeast from the magazine built by Gallia last year at Koblenz. Said corps is now at Wetzlar pointed at Kassel and/or to second Chevert or de Broglie.
----------------------
Also in the region of Hesse Fedora and Hesse Homburg, Marshall de Broglie left Koblenz, headed north and fought the Britannians at Gütersloh on 9 June. The Britannians fell back to Minden. Koblenz continues to be occupied by militia brigades recently arrived from Gallia.

Saxe-Raschstein (Saxony) is an ardent ally of Gallia because Prinz Wilhelm is the brother-in-law of Gallian King Louis XV. Eastern Saxe-Raschstein was lost to Frederick at the end of 1755 (2005). Frederick and Hesse-Seewald then marched south into Saxe-Bearstein (Bohemia) and was repulsed at Lobositz by an allied force from Gallia, Saxe-Raschstein, Russi (Russia) and The Imperium (Austria). The Gallian Foreign Minister The Prince de Charade finds it a curiosity therefore that Saxe-Bearstein remains pondering its options. Perhaps this is because her arch foe Vulgaria is said to be a Gallian ally.

Ah yes, but just because one was invaded by someone last year, doesn't mean one can't be friends this year. It *is* a new year, after all. And there is always the argument that last year's invasion may have been caused by Frederick, thus rendering Hesse-Seewald merely an unfortunate accessory in the matter.
We neutrals must consider the present circumstances and intentions of the various states moreso than the past. Except, perhaps, where Stagonians are concerned, as we have it on good authority from Prince Bruno that they are always evil.
Standing off to the east, we shall await the call of opportunity (or pressure from Russi).
Therefore it does not serve our interest to 'declare' ourselves aligned to any of the combattants in western europe until the situation to our east has been determined.
In either case, should the Boyars be in favor of continued armed neutrality or open conflict, The Duchy of Mieczyslaw would not openly make such a declaration, for this would surely tip our hand...
The Gallians should know that it is not Vulgaria that is the enemy of Saxe-Bearstein -- but instead it is that most perfidious of states, that most vile of nations, the disreputable villains of Stagonia who is our enemy.

Although we do consider the pagans of Vulgaria an enemy to all Christendom. We are awaiting further diplomatic activity from our immediate neighbors and allies and most importantly to us, word from our noble lords, His Royal Majesty King Leopold IV of Wittenberg and His Royal Highness Furst Bruno von Ursa of Saxe-Bearstein; before we commit our actions, armed forces, word, lives and fortunes to any action.
I have the honour to be, &c.,

Well, if pressed, Stollen's Irwin-Amadeus II would fall into step behind The Elector. But he does admire the Emperor.

The Soweiter League is busy with preparations for parties, festivals and other affaires to celebrate the formation of the League, and hopes to remain neutral in order to enjoy the festivities.
We are watching our neighbor, the Batrachian Empire, which has been rattling a few sabres, epees, rapiers and a main gauche or two. If they fall in with the Vile Stagonians the League would be forced to valiantly defend itself in the face of overwhelming odds (i.e., scrambling to maintain its own defences).
What did happen to Eagallia? For a time I believed this country was as important as Stagonia for the politics of Saxe-Bearstein? Sad for them if they miss the 'enjoyment' coming....[You've Got Another Thing Comin'....]
BTW, would not it make your mapping easier if the 'Batrachian Empire' turns out to be -just like the historical Holy Empire- a 'theoretical association' of actually independant countries: Gallia (facing the Rhine?), Slavonia (facing Belgium), possibly later St Maurice facing Piedmont?
Eagallia is an old name for Stagonia. When the last of the previous ruling family, the Daimglaires, died without an heir, the crown shifted to a cousin, Rollo von Hirshbock (father of the current Graf).
The von Hirshbocks then changed the name of the country to Stagonia. So, in fact, Eagallia and Stagonia are the same vile country.

As go the Armies of the Czarina of all the Russe and the Empress of the Austro~Hungarians so goes the army of Vulgaria!
The Empress Marie Therese of Imperium is equally perplexed at her loss of Bohemia to Saxe-Bearstein. It would appear that the rampant bear's best interests are served by an alliance with Frederick of Germania and his Hesse Seewald ally. Thus the rampant bear shall ever rule the ancient land of Bohemia.
We have considered the current situation and have decided on a policy of neutrality in these matters. Our primary concern is the prosperity of our lands and the well-being of our subjects; we do not wish for them to un-necessarily afflicted by the woes of war.
We maintain a policy of allowing armies of friendly nations passage through our country, providing they are well behaved and pay for any supplies they require – if these conditions are not met they will be ejected from our lands by force of arms.
We wish for peaceful co-exsitence for all nations.

Any armed Parties found upon Alzheimer soil shall not be afforded free passage. They shall be ejected with all force.
Any parties desirous of Peace will be most welcome in these lands.
