Some would say that the mysterious Black Legion assisted the Duchess in her escape. They clogged the road and prevented Duke Peter's dragoons from catching up with the Duchess. Was it just a coincidence or by plan?

Surely the Duke will rally. After all, any one who would deliberately throw herself onto the vile Stagonians shouldn't drive one to death's door.
