Being in the nature of a genial location for imaginary nations of the Eighteenth Century to carry out diplomatic affairs . . . (not the place for rule discussions, miniature manufacturers, painting reports, history of your country or other things that belong on your personal blogs).

Excellent.
Do you want to cover the Duke's visit? Or we can write two stories one from the Duke's perspective, the other from the Morean perspective? Whichever is fine by me, but I won't have something ready until Friday.
If Young King Basil joins Reich Duke Wilhelm, they'll have to decide together on the next step of the Tour. We know it was to be Hetzenberg, but the Grand Duchy is currently under attack. And the new Margraf is a vicious rascal, capable of the most dishonourable stabs. Know that the Monte-Cristan 'Bloodline team' -a task board combining genealogists of the Service d’Heraldique and physicians learned in the heredity of physical and mental features, weaknesses and diseases- demonstrated that the ruling lines of Dunkeldorf-Pfühl, Stagonia (and Waldreck), not only share a common, if illegitimate, ancestry but are closely interlinked by numerous adulterous cross-breedings. The degenerative effects of excessive consanguinity are well known and current ruling characters there illustrate such consequences of iterative inbreeding: Ludwig of Stagonia and Heinrich of Dunkeldorf-Pfuhl share not only ‘arguable’ psychological traits but also the wall-eyes and many other features of the Martense syndrome.
Thus, a detour by Monte-Cristo while the situation calms down elsewhere would provide a safe alternative among freshly blossoming flowers; and the prestigious Tourists would arrive in the Presipality right in time to discover several annual events of 'cultural', yet enjoyable, nature.

I think the Principality of Morea should post its own perspective of the visit and inform everyone what young Basil expects. I'm sure Reich Duke will post his perspective of the visit. A detour by Monte-Cristo while the situation calms down in Hetzenberg would provide a safe alternative and a lovely diversion. The Reich Duchess is very fond of gardens and would greatly enjoy the kind invitation...
