The Grand Duchess of Grolstein has ordered her court chefs to begin preparations for a banquet to bring tears to the Reich Duke's eyes! Already she has her best Grenz sharpshooters out hunting for Royal venison!...and of course the ladies of the court are most expectant as well...

Grand Duke Karl of Hetzenberg shall also declare a national holiday. Perhaps the noisy neighbors across the river will oblige by not opening hostilities until the visit is over.
We will have to negotiate a truce between the Markgraf of Carpania (my current employer) and the Dukes of Courland and Sachsen-Wachsenstein so that the visit of his Excellency will not be disrupted. And since the two duchies are in the Imperium circles, that should not be too difficult.
We are looking forward to your Excellency's visit and have instructed the kitchen staff to prepare the very best Raumschinzel mit Kaesespaetzle, accompanied by the smoothest weizenbier in the county. I will also burrow into my cellar for an extra-special bottle or three of the finest single malt Scotch whiskey therein.
