By swiftest couriers, copies of the following letter hurry their way to the Reichsarmee and to Mssr Chevert:

One, no sympathy please, I'm paying the price for ignoring my welfare when younger ...
Two: until September, Frankfurter had been eagerly mobilizing for the affair (over 400 figures -- 9 battalions of line / grenediers and two half battalions of lights, and four guns) painted so that they could fight on either side or both ... LOL).
In September, some of my chronic helath problems increased in intensity leading to spending the last week of September in considerable pain in our local horse pistol.
After being released from durance painful, I continued to hope, and began painting a unit of Hussars.
Unfortunately, a comparitively short trip to a wedding I was asked to perform demonstrated to me that I am simply vstly too weak to consider any trip of more than about 4 to six hours one way.

I'll be very jealous and very eager to see the pictures ... take lots of them!!!

Maybe next year at the syw conference of the next game in Illinois ...

Arthur,

I'm sorry to hear that. I was hoping to meet you and see the Frankfurter hordes.

As to the von B-S...umm, Blei-Sammeln...he seems to have attracted ALL KINDS of reinforcements lately!
