Having been enjoying Monty Don's excellent series on BBC 1 of late ( last episode last night but still available on I player) I feel there is another way forward for us at EvE to interact apart from on the field of Mars...Perhaps we could show the power and prestige of our imaginations by outdoing each other by our incredibly baroque and lavish garden design. Not to mention masques,mazes and other divertisments upon the statue encrusted terracing.Any one up for the challenge out there?

Sorry, but too much shameless nudity in Monte-Cristo, as Reich Duke Wilhelm of Beerstein can testify. Except in the deep of Winter, but we are less proud of our gardens then (and in greenhouses the problem, obviously, remains unchanged).
Hmm... The Grand Duchy *could* hire a certain B. S. Johnson to design a garden, but the consequences are totally unforseeable. ;)
I'll be doing my best at this respect -although unfortunately not the actual highest priority at my so badly battered Imagi-Nation! :(

mmm I have illusions of granduer but putting them down on paper amy be a challenge! As for stealing images of great gardens that is easy if you know where to look :)
