Chroniclers state that, when being presented the award, Marquis of Vilana accepted it with deep emotion and gratefulness.

Afterwards, it's also been said that he took the "Sant Jordi d'Alfama" Cross from hands of Lieutenant Leibnitz -who had been holding it during the ceremony-, with the aim to honour back Baron William Beerstein with it...

...and that, in the latest moment, Vilana winked to Beerstein and kneeled down to little Wilhelm's stature, imposing the Cross to the Beersteins offspring.

[So that Jeff, I'm afraid that your character biography will have to suffer a little change, for in fact Duke of Beerstein's first award was won in 1713 on behalf of his proud father!!]

:D

Bill,

Er... why is it that I called you Jeff?

(Mmmm... it seems that my day-to-day fewer neurons have started getting stressed, with so much accumulated work!)
