French assualt on the Landsberg now in full swing

A full blown assault on the Frundsberg positions is now underway and the brave Frundsbergers are determined to hold their ground. The lithograph below shows the first wave of French attackers approaching the crest of the Landsberg defended by a line of Frundsberg artillery and militia

    This "long shot" photo and the distance between foes gives the impression of a painting - a greater realism hard to achieve in tabletop photos. Well done,
