Duda is on his way!
One time Aide de Camp Miecek Duda, most noted for his 'unusual' symphonies and loud presence on the battlefield, has been selected to command a foreign contingent. Read all about his adventures at The Duchy of Mieczyslaw
Hi Murdock,
ReplyDeleteIsn't he the guy who played, "All the duda day"? Sorry. I couldn't resist. I bet Steven Foster is revolving in his grave.
LOL Look up the Polish translation of DUDA as a name...
ReplyDeleteWith the heritage implied by the name, isn't Duda perhaps better cut out for a career in the artillery?
ReplyDeleteSo he played "all the duda day", badly, on bagpipes? lol
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's why he's leaving town in such a hurry! ;-)
Well perhaps the artillery, however a loud boisterous and blundering staff officer works also?
ReplyDeletePlus artillery officers in the period are not really looked upon favorably...at least until one certain Captain releived the seige of Marseilles...
Bagpipes in Mieczyslaw?
ReplyDeleteDefinately a good reason to leave in a hurry!
What would Aerosmith say about this?
