Condensed as it is forced to be, I believe it nevertheless manages to express the flavour, general motivations and particular way-of-life ('way-of-play' I'd rather say) of 18th Century Imagi-Nationeers. Good job, in my humble opinion.Soldadetshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15287249675712055860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1582882317444419527.post-75506888377618807442011-01-13T02:48:39.186-08:002011-01-13T02:48:39.186-08:00Yes, that was written 6 months ago, I will make qu...Yes, that was written 6 months ago, I will make quite a few edits like that.freecloudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02733549306046954628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1582882317444419527.post-25540285449384609752011-01-12T18:29:40.405-08:002011-01-12T18:29:40.405-08:00Interesting article, sir. But a couple of things to consider . . .

Instead of 76 authors, we currently have 87 member authors (and I have no idea as to how many separate Imagi-Nations).

We, in EvE are not concerned with figure scale. I know that we have members whose armies range (at least) from 6mm to 40mm. Yes, 25-28mm are probably the most popular, but 15mm and 1/72 plastic are not far behind.

You did not mention "proxy battles", which are great fun. Two Imagi-Nations (often far apart in the real world) have a "third party" fight out a battle between them. They will each convey the details of their plans and forces to the "third party" who will then fight the actual battle (often using rules and a figure scale different from what the two belligerents use). We have had some great "proxy battles" set up via EvE. One (Battle of Tippelbruder) involved forces from over a half-dozen Imagi-Nations.

-- JeffBluebear Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05171345165563779232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1582882317444419527.post-77623272544816063842011-01-12T17:31:58.497-08:002011-01-12T17:31:58.497-08:00No, that's the wrong button, takes you to the ...No, that's the wrong button, takes you to the software.
